it's time

I began this blog just over one year ago. I was fat. I was frustrated. I wanted to run.

I stumbled across this quote as I researched a few "learn to run" programs:

A year from now, you may wish you had started today

It struck me. One year could change my life.

I began this blog with a single-focused mission: to run 5 miles comfortably (at whim!) by May 2011.

It's going to happen this week. I am going to randomly choose one evening this week and head out for my first ever 5-miler. Check back in next Saturday for the full details!

  6. I cant wait for you to hit your five mile run and experience how awesome it feels!!!! I am so proud of you. And I just love that quote. It is so true and I really feel like I need to make that my motto or something. I always seem to have a hard time getting started on things and that is the perfect quote.

I started my blog about a year ago too! Wow the time went quick and we have both some so far for sure! I have really enjoyed following your journey and also your comments that you leave for me on my blog! So thank you for that!

Having said that...I decided the other day (out of the blue) that i am going to train for a half marathon!!! there is one in October. Have you considered training for one? Its not for everyone but I hope I can do it with the support of the blogging community!

Keep up the great work. You are doing so awesome!

I'm Tami and I have a healthy living blog. I have been a long time WW member and recently gained back a few pounds.

I decided to get a group of bloggers and others together and host a Small Change Challenge to kick off Summer in a healthy way!

Stop by and read about it and see if it is something you would like to join. The more people who join the more positive energy we will create!
