auto pilot

I feel a little like this woman lately.... Mindlessly going about my business. Not paying attention to what I'm doing...on auto pilot.

Do you know what happens when you cruise along on auto pilot!?...

FAIL!

My weight loss has been at a complete standstill this month. Being sick didn't help, but let's face it - I have stalled when it comes to exercise and eating well.

I am going to dedicate my weekend to getting back on track. Back to basics. This includes getting around to reading all of YOUR blogs.

I hope to have a good update next week - including some weight loss!

Have a good one!

  1. I just saw a story about the texting/fountain girl on the news last night. Maybe they said she was wanting to sue somebody? Ugh, it is so vague, I can't remember what they said.

Either way - it is hilarious!

Good luck on getting back on track! I think we all stall once in a while, it's normal. You'll probably feel so great when you feel like you are back in a routine!

  2. Ahhh, being sick definitely sets you back. I felt like that woman about eating. I was mindlessly eating. Now I'm really paying attention to what I eat - like eating at the table, eating slowly, and it has been so good for me. I feel like a different person.

  6. I operated on auto pilot for so many years. Obviously I could have used some direction and focus. Might not have gotten myself into this trouble. I need to keep my eyes on the goals!

    Keep focused!!!

  8. Sounds like you need some kind of jolt to rouse you from it. Maybe electric shock therapy? :P

I know all too well the thrills and spills of auto-pilot since I have spent most of my life in some degree of. Maybe it is for self-preservation. If you don't register things fully, how can they have the power to affect you?

  16. Hope the weekend went well! I'm also feeling a little off-track. I feel like winter makes it harder to really stick with it - I feel more like hibernating and eating comfort food than working out and eating my veggies!
