feelin' the luv

I decided to let the creative juices flow today while I mapped out an EPIC lunch-hour run through the streets of Toronto. What better way to increase my mileage than to force myself into a unique loop pattern:

This run will have me logging 6.79 km - longest distance ever tackled in one session. I think my heart will thank me. ;)

Happy Valentine's Day to all my blog buddies. I hope you have a great day with your loved ones and families.

XO
Rae

Edited to Add: I survived! I managed to pull this off within my 90-minute window. Despite a wrong turn or two, I stuck to my Valentine's pattern, lol. Thank goodness for baby wipes and an afternoon free from meetings. I was a hot mess afterwards!

  4. @Darla: This is a first! I usually duck out for 30-40 to do 3.1 once a week. Today I am allowing myself a good 90-minutes, to be on the safe-side. Wish me luck...here I go! :)

  5. Um, so I totally didn't know how long that was...I had to convert it into miles, lol, sad I know. That is awesome! You are so inspirational...and I think it was cute that your route was in the shape of a heart :) Keep up the good work. I am just now at the point where I can run a mile without having to walk some of it.
