hard 10 - day five/six recap

I survived! I made it through my day of temptation and forcible confinement without being completely derailed. It was tough. One of my work colleagues is gluten and dairy-free, so the focus group facility had some pretty healthy options available for dinner. I had these delicious little lettuce wraps, stuffed with chicken breast and a tangy lemon dill sauce. I avoided the bowls of chocolate and the dessert platter and managed to get down all of my water. Efforts to exercise were futile.

I plan to make up for the lack of exercise tomorrow by doing an exercise class and a run. Wish me luck!

Oh...and an interesting side-effect of this challenge: I have become obsessed with calorie counting. I am taking it veeEERRy seriously. ha!

Have a good one!

  3. After my last "Diet" post one of my coaches clients, who happens to read my blog, sent her a concerned email. She thinks I am obsessed with my weight. REALLY! Duh comes to mind!

Anyway, congrats to you on managing potential obstructions in your quest. You succeeded!

  5. Way to over come a difficult situation!! I have found lately, that it's easier to find healthier choices when I'm not at home. Seems like people are at least trying to get healthy. It's been amazing at work....Since I started my journey, it seems that others are tagging along. I opened the fridge the other day and marveled at the beautiful selections I saw. No more soda, fast food, high calories items. It was fresh fruits and veggies, lite cheese, flavored water, yogurt etc. It was freshing to see!!!

Keep up the great work my friend!!!

    Stay focused!!!!

  7. Right nutrition plays crucial role. When you are working on your fitness and weight loss goals, your body needs lots of energy in order not to be exhausted. At the same time you should avoid overeating. I was recommended to take dietary supplements developed for the U.S. Army - Military Grade Nutritionals. I must say, the result was awesome! I feel energized even after highly intensive workouts, my pounds go off much easier, and now I am in the best shape of my life. Will definitely go on like this.
